Facilities Management Trusted By
Scotland’s scale and economic diversity make it one of the most demanding security environments in the UK. From Edinburgh’s financial districts and Aberdeen’s energy infrastructure to the renewable energy developments of the Firth of Forth and Cromarty Firth, and the remote industrial sites of the Highlands, effective security here requires genuine national reach and local knowledge. ProFM Group delivers both – with static guarding and mobile patrol solutions built around the specific pressure of each location and sector across Scotland.
Scotland’s economy spans North Sea energy, financial services, food and drink, advanced manufacturing and a rapidly expanding renewables sector. Each carries its own risk profile, and our teams are built to address all of them. Every officer is SIA-licensed and BS:7858-vetted, locally based and coordinated around the clock via our National Operations Centre (NOC) – ensuring a consistent response whether that’s at a retail operation in Dundee, a construction site near Inverness, or a logistics hub on the M74 corridor south of Glasgow.
Scotland’s geographic spread – from the Central Belt to the remote stretches of Argyll, Caithness and the island communities – demands security technology that’s as adaptable as it is capable. ProFM Group hold NSI Gold accreditation across all installation and engineering work, with Paxton Gold status for access controls and intruder alarm systems, and 24/7 real-time monitoring through our National Operations Centre. Every system is bespoke – whether that’s a CCTV installation on Edinburgh’s Princes Street, an access control overhaul for one of Aberdeen’s energy sector office parks, or a surveillance package for a whisky distillery in the Speyside.
For Scotland’s more isolated sites – renewable energy developments, remote construction projects, and rural premises across the Highlands – our temporary security technology is the ideal solution. Solar-powered CCTV towers, VPOD visually-verified intruder alarms, and AI-assisted ProEyez smart perimeter detection all operate without a fixed power source, connecting wirelessly via a worldwide SIM for uninterrupted monitoring and real-time alerts, wherever the site is located.
Scotland’s events calendar is one of the most varied and high-profile in Europe. From TRNSMT and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to the Highland Games circuit, international rugby at Murrayfield, and Old Firm fixtures at Ibrox and Celtic Park, the country’s venues host some of the most complex crowd management challenges in the UK. With Martyn’s Law now in force, the expectation on organisers to demonstrate a rigorous, compliant security operation has never been higher – and ProFM Group are built to meet it.
Our event security teams are SIA-licensed and trained in crowd management, conflict de-escalation and WAVE protocols. From bespoke risk assessments and security planning through to full post-event demobilisation, we handle every layer of your event’s security needs under one provider for a seamless experience. This includes access control, ticketing, perimeter security, stageside personnel, and emergency response.
