What Our Gatehouse Security Services Cover
Gatehouse security puts trained security guards at your main entry points with a defined set of gatehouse duties. What those are for your site will be agreed with you before we start. Your gatehouse security officers can:
- Verify ID for everyone entering your premises
- Issue, log and recover visitors’ passes and access badges
- Operate barriers, gates and turnstiles as part of your access control
- Check drivers, vehicles and paperwork before release into your yard
- Manage access for deliveries and contractors
- Monitor your CCTV cameras and entry control systems from the gatehouse
- Carry out routine checks and perimeter patrols between arrivals
- Act as the first point of contact in an emergency
- Direct visitors, drivers and staff to the right part of your premises
Access Control Systems And Gatehouse Security Technology
Your gatehouse is the natural hub of your security technology because there’s always somewhere there to keep watch. Access control systems could include biometric scanners, card readers and even Automatic Number Plate Recognition to speed up entry.
CCTV and AI powered intruder detection can add another layer of threat detection around your site, with guards checking that gates, lighting and cameras are working properly every shift.
As a professional SIA-Licensed security company, ProFM provides full gatehouse security services under one contract.
Fully Licensed, Vetted and Verified Gatehouse Security Officers
All gatehouse security officers hold a current SIA licence and has passed BS7858 screening covering employment history, ID verification and background checks before deployment. As standard, we confirm every officer has the right to work in the UK and can communicate effectively both with your and your staff, as well as the emergency services for accurate incident reporting.
Gatehouse Security Cover Built Around Your Site's Hours
Day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays are all staffed, with round the clock protection available where your site needs it. Holiday and sickness cover come from the same local pool of officers so you’ll always know the guards covering your gatehouse. Our NOC oversees and co-ordinates every deployment in real-time so if there’s ever an issue our security guards are available to resolve them quickly.
