The British Institute of Cleaning Sciences (BICSc) is the primary accrediting body for training across the cleaning sector. They ensure that the cleaning provided by a cleaning company meets stringent and rigorous standards, and that they’re able to uphold these throughout the company’s tenure.

Established back in 1961, the institute has been the gold standard for training across the sector since its creation and represents the cutting edge of what’s expected of a cleaner in the modern workplace. An SIA licence can only be obtained once a security professional has passed an approved and properly certified security training course, such as those hosted by GetLicensed. This ensures that all security personnel – no matter where you’ll find them – have a consistently high level of expertise, and that you can expect the same standards from any licensed officer.

Yes. All of ProFM’s security officers will have an extensive, multi-day induction process for your premises, ensuring they’re able to deliver all the solutions you expect from the very first day. That includes any specific health and safety protocols (essential for construction sites or industrial premises), as well as necessary inductions and logbook services.

ProFM Group’s culture of complete transparency has meant investing in state-of-the-art technology that records every shift conducted by our staff. Known as EziTracker, the system utilises a remote telephone tracking system and generates an instant timesheet of all our colleagues’ movements.

This information can be shared with our customers at any time, and ensures one of the most comprehensive and open approaches to our cleaning. Time and time again we’ve heard of other cleaning companies lacking in reliability, and with EziTracker, we offer a highly advanced system to ensure we never fall into those same pitfalls.

While we’d always seek to avoid this where possible, absence sometimes inescapable, especially during periods of sickness or holidays. If this does happen, we have professional, highly skilled relief cleaners able to cover at a moment’s notice.

These relief cleaners will all have undertaken the same stringent training processes that all of our staff undergo, meaning they can take up the necessary duties as soon as they’re needed.

The SIA (Security Industry Authority) is the government regulator for the private security industry. They ensure that the standards of the security industry are at a good level, as well as providing licenses to security professionals and approved companies.

Yes. As part of new regulations introduced in 2021, first aid is now a compulsory part of the SIA licensing process for both Door Supervisors and Security Guards. This must be at least an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification.
