We recognise the importance of ensuring our personnel receive extensive training. While all of our officers will be fully licensed by the SIA, and our cleaners are rigorously trained in site-specific cleaning measures, that’s only the baseline – we seek to elevate that beyond what’s expected and deliver a service that we’re proud to put the ProFM name to.
From expert training delivered via our customised online training platform, to specialist courses on Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) training and Action Counter Terrorism (ACT) designed to revolutionise event security, we go above and beyond to provide a truly leading security service.
We’ve partnered with the accredited training provider iHasco to provide expert-led, fully certified training courses to all of our frontline officers. These are built with their unique roles in mind, as well as designed in accordance with your site – our officers are equipped to deliver a service that evolves alongside your site, and in line with your demands.
That’s accessible 24/7, too. We know our officers work different and often unsociable hours – it’s part of what makes them great – and we’ve chosen our training platform based on its accessibility, its flexibility, and the scope of what it offers. That all translates to a better service for clients across the board, from single-day events to multi-year partnerships.
We know that our security officers are among the most dedicated professionals we have on board. That’s why we offer a range of optional training measures to ensure that they’re not only able to deliver that exceptional service you’re looking for, but that they can thrive in their role and carve out a career in our industry.
You’ll see that most clearly reflected in our concierge security solutions, where our officers deliver both SIA-licensed security solutions alongside robust customer service and communication training.
For any site that has specific requirements, we know that the baseline SIA training isn’t always enough. Whether it’s stringent health and safety requirements, site-based inductions, or check-in procedures, we’re proud to provide our officers with all they need to provide a comprehensive security package.
Our Operations Managers and site supervisors all take the time to understand your site specifics and develop a comprehensive plan to ensure that everyone is able to provide those same high standards. It’s part of being the UK#s #1 security company – we know what it takes to be the UK’s best.
Arguably one of the most crucial aspects of any form of cleaning is controlling infections, especially seasonal and high contagious viruses like norovirus, colds and flu. That’s something we invest significant time into as part of our training processes – we’re firm believers that, by keeping these basics as thorough and meticulous as possible, we can ensure a comprehensive clean.
Our extensive experience also means we’re able to apply that thorough knowledge to a huge range of different sectors, ranging from food preparation areas and restaurants, to offices and schools. Plus, with our rigorous approach to staff training, you’re always exceptional the same level of service and cleanliness.
A major part of any industry, and especially so in cleaning, is compliance with the latest legislation from the Health and Safety Executive. We take the utmost care in everything we do, and ensure that all of our staff are completely compliant with the latest in H&S guidance for any job they undertake.
That extends to full adherence to the latest guidelines on the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) in environments where it’s necessary to use chemicals. Your safety is of paramount concern to us, and we do everything we can to ensure a safe and effective clean.
Of course, as much as we can guarantee an exceptional service, it’s only exceptional if we continually deliver that unmatched standard. That’s another area where we place continued emphasis, offering consistent and detailed reporting across all of our cleaning contracts.
We provide in-depth audits and repots on your cleaning at regular intervals throughout your time with us, all of which are expertly designed to guarantee that you’re receiving that same constant level of unparalleled quality.
The British Institute of Cleaning Sciences (BICSc) is the primary accrediting body for training across the cleaning sector. They ensure that the cleaning provided by a cleaning company meets stringent and rigorous standards, and that they’re able to uphold these throughout the company’s tenure.
Established back in 1961, the institute has been the gold standard for training across the sector since its creation and represents the cutting edge of what’s expected of a cleaner in the modern workplace. We’re exceptionally proud to be a fully-fledged corporate member of the institution and to strive towards the quality the BICSc champions.
Of course! We aim to ensure that the quality of your cleaning will never dip over the course of your contract with us, and that’s exceptional through our comprehensive auditing and reporting procedures. Through regular meetings and audits by our senior management team, we’re able to provide both a concrete promise of quality, and ongoing coaching for all of our staff.
Not only does this further compound the unrivalled quality of our cleaning services, it also ensures that any non-compliance or shortfalls are rectified immediately. All of our managers take a “hands on” approach, with all audit results charted and analysed ready for a discussion in our monthly meetings.
We can, and it’s something we’ve got extensive and in-depth knowledge of. We take great care in guiding you through the complexities of the law so that we can get the right staff in the right place, and provide the stellar service we’ve become known for.
The TUPE process can often put people off outsourcing their cleaning requirements, but with our vast knowledge of the latest protocols, ProFM can help. That even applies to more complex scenarios, such as NHS staff with existing pensions.
An SIA licence can only be obtained once a security professional has passed an approved and properly certified security training course, such as those hosted by GetLicensed. This ensures that all security personnel – no matter where you’ll find them – have a consistently high level of expertise, and that you can expect the same standards from any licensed officer.
Yes. All of ProFM’s security officers will have an extensive, multi-day induction process for your premises, ensuring they’re able to deliver all the solutions you expect from the very first day. That includes any specific health and safety protocols (essential for construction sites or industrial premises), as well as necessary inductions and logbook services.
ProFM Group’s culture of complete transparency has meant investing in state-of-the-art technology that records every shift conducted by our staff. Known as EziTracker, the system utilises a remote telephone tracking system and generates an instant timesheet of all our colleagues’ movements.
This information can be shared with our customers at any time, and ensures one of the most comprehensive and open approaches to our cleaning. Time and time again we’ve heard of other cleaning companies lacking in reliability, and with EziTracker, we offer a highly advanced system to ensure we never fall into those same pitfalls.
While we’d always seek to avoid this where possible, absence sometimes inescapable, especially during periods of sickness or holidays. If this does happen, we have professional, highly skilled relief cleaners able to cover at a moment’s notice.
These relief cleaners will all have undertaken the same stringent training processes that all of our staff undergo, meaning they can take up the necessary duties as soon as they’re needed.
The SIA (Security Industry Authority) is the government regulator for the private security industry. They ensure that the standards of the security industry are at a good level, as well as providing licenses to security professionals and approved companies.
Yes. As part of new regulations introduced in 2021, first aid is now a compulsory part of the SIA licensing process for both Door Supervisors and Security Guards. This must be at least an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification.
