Cleaning Case Study
On the outskirts of the thriving Manchester City Centre, Urmston Group Practice finds itself in one of the city’s commuter towns, Urmston. With the GP lodged in one of the more residential areas of the town, it naturally sees an influx of patients and visitors daily, alongside a regular stream of people visiting neighbouring businesses.
With its proximity to a large city and its central nature in Urmston itself, the Group Practice naturally needs a cleaning solution that’s as robust as the practice itself.
As you’d imagine with such a popular clinic, the hygiene demands were substantial. Couple that with the stringent nature of medical cleaning as a whole, and it becomes abundantly clear the issues that Urmston General Practice faced before approaching ProFM.
They’d also previously considered using in-house cleaners for the job, but quickly realised that the cleaning requirements of the surgery were too big and that external support would be needed to maintain the quality that patients had rightly come to expect.
We’ve been able to deploy highly effective, well-trained cleaners that fully understand the demands of medical cleaning. That’s one of our key remits here at ProFM– we’re able to provide cleaners that not only understand the demands of medical cleaning but can deliver it on a consistent and CQC-compliant basis.
One of the key stipulations for the General Practice was a flexible schedule, especially given that the surgery is open as late as 6:30 pm daily. We’ve customised our solutions to fit comfortably around those hours.
The results have been impressive, to say the least. While Urmston General Practice has always been a well-received practice, the cleaning services have served to elevate that to the next level and provide a better-rounded picture of healthcare in the town.
That’s reflected in the reviews the practice has received, with patients and visitors praising the levels of cleanliness, safety and pleasantness of the environment.
