ProFM Group have always sought to lead from the front with a keen sense of purpose. We’re on track to reduce our climate impact within the 2030 Net Zero targets, and remain in line with the global aim of fully net-zero by 2025.
This is evidenced in our ongoing work with customers and our well-established reputation for delivering services that couple eco-friendly practices with stellar service
At CAF Rolling Stock, our operatives ran regular site sweeps, switching off equipment left running and adjusting appliances by hand. This alone saved an average of 7,000 kWh of energy and 1,500kg of CO2 (worth £15,000) every month.
That’s just one example of how our routine site work is helping cut energy use not just for us, but for customers too.
We’ve always believed our people are our greatest strength. The officers and cleaners on your site each day make our service what it is. And the way we support them shapes the service you get.
We hold Gold membership of the Mental Health Charter (actively working towards Platinum), which gives every colleague wellbeing support either through our internal Mental Health First Aiders, a 24/7 Mental Health Helpline and dedicated Mental Health Hub.
Alongside our internal teams, we partner with expert HR provider Peninsula, who give us expert advice on employment law, health and safety and wellbeing. This helps us ensure every colleague gets fair, well informed support whenever they want it.
Through our partnership with Tariff, we offer every customer cleaner energy options as part of our core services. On any site we clean, we use eco-friendly chemicals and energy-efficient equipment.
Our internal ESG Committee brings colleagues from across the business to oversee our commitments and hold us accountable. This includes regularly reviewing our company policies and adding new governance and initiatives where it’s needed.
Over the next year, we’re focused on completing our Scope 3 measurement with the introduction of a groundbreaking partnership, and building ESG further into our management structure for how we plan and make decisions.
Environmentalism is a core principle of ESG. As a leader in our field, we put as much effort into our commitments to the planet as we do to supporting our people, customers and partners.

LANPAC is a unique collaboration between Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire Businesses and Public Services working together to reduce levels of crime and disorder across the county. It's truly an honour to be considered part of an initiative that’s paving the way for a brighter, safer and more sustainable future for businesses, entrepreneurs and communities alike.
We understand that not everyone is as fortunate as we might be, and for us, that’s an opportunity to give back and to support the community. We’ve organised several food bank drives, providing much-needed resources to the Living Waters Church in Chorley, as well as other local food banks.
Arguably the essence of social commitments, and integral to ensuring that the vital work of charities across the UK can continue, donations and fundraising are held near and dear at ProFM. With more than £30,000 donated to cancer charities and initiatives, we’ve supported several crucial charities, including Cancer Research UK, Children in Need and Breast Cancer UK.
One of the most accessible and well-recognised charitable endeavours, we’re proud to have brought the infamous Macmillan Coffee Morning to our Head Office for several years running, all intending to raise donations through bake sales, quizzes and raffles. It’s also an ideal opportunity to practice mindfulness over coffee and cake.
A recent development, and one that we’re exceptionally proud to have been part of, we’ve entered into a partnership with the charity Autism Beaudon – Understanding Kindness. Integral to its local community, and closely tied to many people who we work or interact with regularly, the opportunity to offer sponsorship was one that we were immediately drawn to.
We're huge advocates for the power of effective education, and our ongoing support of Inspire Youth Zone in Chorley only serves to reinforce that. We've attended careers fairs, charitable events, and even 5-a-side tournaments to offer our support for a well-deserving initiative.
A merging of both our Environmental and Social commitments, we take several key members of our Head Office staff down to a nearby beach to clean up the litter we often see on our coastlines. It’s a cost-effective, environmentally friendly way to have a major impact on our local community.
