Group Chief Executive Officer

John Melling is Group Chief Executive Officer at ProFM Group, leading a national security, cleaning and facilities management business. He joined the company in 2001 as a supervisor and progressed through a variety of operational and leadership roles, including assistant operations manager, client relationship manager, sales and marketing director, and group managing director. Prior to this, he spent three years as a frontline security officer working across retail and hospitality sites throughout the UK.

Drawing on more than two decades of industry experience, John writes on security operations, leadership and the evolving facilities management sector. His expert commentary and thought leadership have been featured in publications including Professional Security Magazine, Professional Security Installer and Facilities Management Journal.
