About the role:
We are seeking a driven and organised Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Buckshaw Village. The role will support the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process across the business, including managing vacancies, coordinating interviews, liaising with hiring managers and candidates, and supporting onboarding and compliance processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving recruitment standards, supporting operational requirements and helping to attract and retain high-quality employees across the group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside another Recruitment Coordinator to manage recruitment inboxes, candidate queries and recruitment-related calls in a professional and timely manner
- Review and process advert requests in line with company governance and approval processes
- Create, post and manage vacancies across various recruitment platforms
- Sift CVs and shortlist suitable candidates against role requirements
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Liaise with operational managers regarding recruitment progress, offers and onboarding requirements
- Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts of employment and onboarding documentation
- Support pre-employment screening and compliance checks, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately
- Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records across internal systems
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a positive candidate experience and smooth transition into the business
- Monitor recruitment activity and support improvements in recruitment standards, retention and onboarding processes
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with operational managers and candidates across the business
- Support wider HR administration and recruitment projects where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all work
- Experience using office systems or CRM tools is desirable but not essential
Desirable:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths required.
- Background in Recruitment Administration
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration (desirable).
- Further training or qualifications in administration or office management are a plus.
