About the client:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and flexible Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves providing holiday and sickness cover across a variety of medical centres and healthcare facilities, working a mixture of morning, daytime and evening shifts as required.

Alongside general cleaning duties, the successful candidate will carry out specialist cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, soft furnishing cleaning and hard floor machine cleaning. Previous carpet cleaning experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.

This is a regional role covering various locations across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the Midlands, North West England and North Wales.

A company vehicle will be provided for business use, therefore applicants must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes and hold a full UK driving licence.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, with a mixture of morning, daytime and evening shifts. Occasional weekend working may be required to meet operational requirements.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned areas
  • Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards
  • Replenish consumables where required
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain a professional and reliable approach at all times
  • Be flexible to support operational requirements as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a Full UK Driving Licence, company vehicle to be provided (For work use only)
  • Due to insurance requirements, must be aged 21 or over
  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
