About the client:

Our client is a leading European provider of packaging, components and insulation solutions.

 

Hours of work: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 08:00-12:00, totalling 12 hours per week

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of all office areas, including reception, offices, meeting rooms, and kitchens.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to ensure a tidy and presentable environment.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company and environmental procedures.
  • Clean and sanitise washrooms, replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as required.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and equipment, including desks, chairs, and shelves.
  • Ensure windows, glass doors, and partitions are kept clean and free from smudges or marks.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damaged furniture, or health and safety hazards to management.
  • Follow company cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistent standards.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to COSHH regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with occasional deep-cleaning tasks or special projects as requested by management.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
