About the client:

Our client is a well-established medical practice located in Northwich. They are recognised for delivering high standards of patient care and for creating a supportive, professional working environment. The practice places great importance on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised setting for both patients and staff. They are now seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to help keep the premises in excellent condition.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday between the hours of 20:00-22:00, totalling 10 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance around the premises.
• Repaint or touch up walls, doors, and other areas as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and ensure lighting is in good working order.
• Fix or replace door handles, locks, and other small fittings.
• Move, assemble, and arrange furniture or equipment as required.
• Ensure external areas are tidy and free from hazards.
• Report any major repair needs to the appropriate person or contractor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or similar role.
• Basic skills in painting, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Physically fit to carry out manual handling duties such as moving furniture.
• A proactive approach to keeping the premises safe and well-maintained.
