About the Role:

As an Operations Manager within our Security Division, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of security operations across London and the Home Counties. Working closely with the regional support team, you will provide vital leadership in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance across your portfolio. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business and provide direction across a range of operational challenges.

 

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Friday between the hours of 09:00 – 17:30, however work outside of these hours will be required due to the nature of the role, including days, nights and weekends.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contracts are visited within the agreed SLA, including all meeting minutes documented with the company systems. Build relationships with clients and ensure contract is meeting (and where possible exceeding) contractual obligations.
  • To demonstrate ProFM Group’s virtues and drive our Purpose.
  • Ownership of project management, events, and mobilisations.
  • Ensure any service deficiencies or client dissatisfaction is noted and dealt with promptly whilst driving innovation to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to constantly improve the contracts and add value.
  • Work in coordination with HR to recruit, deploy and retain our colleagues.
  • Ensure you positively endorse the organisation, it’s products and services always.
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are documented and always followed, for both the company and the client.
  • Ensure adequate cover across all contracts within your portfolio.
  • Scheduling of officers on our work force management system.
  • Build and maintain relationships with officers across your portfolio completing visits in hours and out of hours.
  • To advise the Senior Operations Manager on the implications of current and upcoming health and safety, welfare and other legislation including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans to ensure compliance.
  • To undertake any other duties as required by the Director of Operations, Senior Operations Manager and Senior Management Team.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid front-line SIA Licence
  • A passion for service excellence.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use I.T systems effectively.
  • Good organisational, leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients and senior management.
  • High level of professionalism
  • Flexible around working hours.
  • Reliable with excellent time keeping.
  • Ability to use initiative and be adaptable.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and part of a team.
  • A good knowledge of the security industry
