About the role:

We’re looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team based in Chorley. Supporting the Head of HR and two HR Advisors, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day HR operations across our growing group of 650 employees. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters in the Cleaning and Security divisions, ensuring all documentation and checks are completed.
• Assist Security Officers through the BS7858 screening process, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
• Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
• Support the HR team with TUPE processes and redundancy exercises, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Assist managers with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
• Manage the shared HR inbox, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and efficiently.
• Perform general administrative duties such as preparing contracts, letters, and maintaining filing systems.
• Any other adhoc duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in an HR administrative or HR support role
• Strong understanding of HR processes, documentation, and best practices.
• Level 3 CIPD or equivalent desirable although not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points maximum
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle
• Familiarity with handling confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
