About the role:
As a Contracts Support Supervisor within our Security Division, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of security operations across the South. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will provide vital support in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance. This role requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week, with a shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business and provide leadership across a range of operational challenges.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support The Operations Manager/Team in the Mobilisations of new sites
  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with service partners and colleagues
  • Support the Operations Manager with core hour cover, meaning covering security shifts when required
  • Deliver a high level of support to colleagues
  • Conduct welfare visits with security officers
  • Oversee the running of short-term contracts
  • Completing relevant documentation and other administration tasks
  • To take effective action in emergencies and co-operate fully with the relevant authorities
  • Display Humility, Passion and a People-First approach
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the role

 

Requirements:

  • A valid front-line SIA Licence
  • A full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 points
  • Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  • A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
  • A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
