About the client:

Our client is a market leader in the field of DNA relationship testing, renowned for pioneering the use of DNA analysis in paternity testing. They offer one of the fastest and most conclusive services in the industry, utilizing a cutting-edge 24-marker genetic test. Their comprehensive range of testing services includes paternity, maternity, sibling, avuncular, grandparentage, and immigration-related DNA testing. With a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and speed, the company provides next working day results for samples received by 10am—delivering timely and reliable outcomes for clients across a wide spectrum of personal and legal matters.

Hours of work: An average of 15 hours per week

Monday-Friday between 17:00-20:00 or 17:30-20:30

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and areas.
• Industrial cleaning to high standards.
• Clean and sanitise shared areas, communal areas, bathrooms, offices, stairs reception, canteen and kitchenettes.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Ability to pass NPPV3, SC and eDBS
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
