About the client:

Our client is a market-leading supplier of materials processing and handling equipment, serving a wide range of industries including Quarrying & Demolition, Recycling & Energy, Construction, Scrap, Ports & Rail, and Forestry & Arboriculture. Renowned for their innovative solutions and industry expertise, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality equipment and support services that help clients improve efficiency, sustainability, and performance across complex operations.

Hours of work:

Wednesday and Friday between 17.00-18.30 totalling 3 hrs per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and areas.
• Industrial cleaning to high standards.
• Clean and sanitise shared areas, communal areas, toilets and kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management.
